to spay/neuter or not to spay/neuter My rabbit is for pet purposes only. Currently i have a female but i'm thinking of getting another bunny, don't know what sex yet. But if i have more than one do you think one or both should be fixed. Rabbits seem so fragile to me and i don't really want to put them under anesthecia. What is your opinion on this issue. It would be easier to neuter, right? hope to hear from you Ashley B |

Re: to spay/neuter or not to spay/neuter
I have 2 rabbits. One male 6.5 months old and one female7 months old. I had them both fixed. The poor female kept going through false pregnacy, and the little male just couldn't leave her alone. I had to seperate them, because she kept beating him up. They did great. They were in and out in the same day. He healed very quickly, she on the other hand took several days longer to heal, but she was fine. I just kept them seperated for atleast a week longer. They are doing wonderfully. I recomend it.
