think i fixed my crashing problems
hoped the patch would fix it, but it didnt. i crashed out, and got an error box that said i was out of memory.

i increased my paging file size, and didnt crash out for the next hour or so i was playing in ToA.


so hopefully it'll work :)

How do you increase your paging file size?

Start Menu
Control Panel
System
Advanced Tab
Performance Section, click settings
Advanced Tab
Virtual Memory Section, click change
Custom Setting
Min: 1.5x your system ram (ie 256 sys ram, 384 paging file min)
Max: whatever. i use 384min 512 max (256 sys ram)

Note: virtual memory (aka paging file) uses a portion of your hard drive as RAM. since its the HD and not RAM, its bound to be alot slower, and isnt suggested unless you experience poor performance. Upping RAM is much better than upping page file
