how does it feel [p]

see, i can really fly above

For Glen/Alexios

but hurting here is where i belong

Sita was just having a couple of drinks to calm herself. She'd never been one to believe that a few glasses of wine would harm an unborn child, but still, she was careful not to have too much. Anything in excess was bad, and now she had a child to be careful of. After Edan's death, she'd realised that she'd not been very careful about taking care of herself while she was pregnant with him. So after the first glass of wine, she was careful not to let herself become tipsy. She didn't need to get carried away and kill off another of her offspring. This one would live, she was sure of it.

She poured another glass and glanced around. Nobody was around, and she needed someone to talk to. The stress of being pregnant was bearing down on her, and she wasn't sure where Corey had been lately but it surely hadn't been around her. She realised with a sickening drop of her stomach that she was lonely, and that she longed for her lover. Codependency was something she didn't approve of at all, and so this realisation made her sickish. She put the glass of wine down. She was only feeling this way because she'd had something to drink, she decided. Stepping outside into the cool night air, she smiled to herself. She'd be back to normal in no time.

It's a feeling I'm not used to...
Out of character //
Meeeeee ^.^
In character //

He had all his items now, except for one, but he had decided that repairing the interiors of his armour would have been a lengthy job; and that was unappreciated in the mind of someone who was desperate to leave this... "hell hole"

It wasn't a hell hole for the place though, it was a hell hole because of the people, in Alexios' mind. True, some of the people here had been very warm and kind to him, for instance CJ. He had take a liking to her, but sadly felt that if he talked to her anymore, they would become good friends, and that would stop him from leaving. Making friends here was regarded as a mistake in Alex's mind, hence, it would be avoided. However, he wasn't set on making enemies, it just seemed that he was doing a very good job at it.

He had searched a large part of the local shops and houses in order to find the things he required; wires and resistors from the Opera house, some smaller parts from empty and abandoned houses and their televisions, and a soldering iron and some solder from a ruined hardware shop. All he needed now was a place to go in order to work his magic at repairing.

It was just unfortunate, that the place he chose to work was currently inhabited. To make it worse, it was the one person in the entire of Arcerio he would have rather not spoken to, especially after what he had said in the meeting, right before he stormed out. She had it coming, in his mind, but, would she think of it that way? Probably not.

At first, he had no idea who it was inside, but he could tell as he neared the building, there was already someone inside. He could sense another presence inside the run down liquor store. He didn't feel there was any particular need to be frightened, or any need to turn away, as he didn't know who it was inside at this time, but gently, he tapped on the door and called in,
"Is there anyone in here? Is it alright if I come in and borrow a plug socket?"

Sita heard a voice from the front door and turned back around from the back. She didn't want to see or hear the person calling in to her, and with good reason. Alexios Torez and she were seemingly mortal enemies from square one, hating eachother with a passion because neither of them could accept the other's answer as a possible truth. Of course, Sita knew for a fact that nobody would leave this place until whatever needed to happen had happened, but she supposed there must be a breach somewhere that someone could get out. Maybe.

She took her time making her way to the front door of the liquor store. Finally, she was face to face with Alexios Torez. She leaned against the doorframe and smirked. You called?

Actually, perhaps you're right...
Out of character //
Mm, pizza...
In character //

Alex was never one for mincing his words to soften a blow. He was a great fan of speaking his mind,
"...and already am regretting it..."

He sighed and shook his head though slightly. After the incident in the theatre, he didn't want another confrontation here and he closed his eyes,
"Look, arguing and falling out is never gonna get us anywhere, is it. Now, I know you don't believe I can make it out of here, but, at least let me try. Even if I do't make it, and I die, it's no major loss for all of you, is it? And besides, at least I can say I died like I should have done; that I died trying."

He shook his head a little more before he lifted up the soldering iron,
"I just wondered if I could use some power from in here, then I can get these repairs done, but if I'm disturbing your piece in any way, then it's fine, I'll just find somewhere else."

True, he was going against himself. He was backing down his corner, against someone who definately seemed to be a now sworn enemy, but, he wasn't TRYING to make enemies, nor friends. He was just trying to get home now, and he could see that being enemy with this woman was never going to benefit him in any way, shape or form. So the best thing to do was to ty and settle down.

He wasn't asking of her to be his friend, or forgive him for what he said at the meeting. All he wanted, for now, was a truce. Maybe this time around, if they got talking, just maybe they would each walk out of here with a new idea of the other person. All that was required at first, was peace, and a chat.

I think I am.

Sita agreed with him completely. Arguing and falling out got them nowhere. But it so angered her that he wouldn't listen to her, even for a moment, and that he was going on some suicide bomber trip to try and get out of Arciero. Hey, I know it sucks here, okay? she said softly. I don't think there's a way out, no. But if you'd like to try.... She paused. What coudl she say? She didn't want to say 'go ahead' because that sounded too much like she was giving permission, and he didn't need her permission. She didn't want to say 'be my guest' because it sounded too cold, and he was putting out a nice effort to be nice to her. Moments passed. She was lost as to what to say. Finally, she spoke up quietly.

I won't stand in your way.

And with that, she moved out of the doorway to let him in to get his supplies.

Then I won't argue..

In character //

Realising the arguments between them were now over, he smiled at her and walked in, putting his equipment down on a desk and looking around for a plug socket,
"Thank you, Sita."
He nodded a little and as he looked, grabbed a bottle of wine from one of the shelves, opened it, then took a large swig out of it, seeing a socket in the wall, and plugging the soldering iron into it, giving it time to warm up.

A light on the end of the soldering iron suddenly kicked in, and smoke gently rose from the solderer as it almost gained it's maximum temperature. Taking another swig of the wine bottle, Alex turned and lokoed at Sita, his eyes narrowed slightly,
"So what exactly do you know about this place, and the things around? Did you say... werewolves... before? They're just fantasy though, aren't they? Or is it some kind of virus?"
