He couldn’t understand how some people could be so rude about one’s fears or weaknesses. People could totally rebel against one’s beliefs, and he didn’t see it as something that was right. He respected whatever other people cared for, really. Discriminating one for their beliefs just wasn’t right in his opinion. It was a pretty shitty thing to do, anyway.
She gave his hug back, and he released her smiling. He was proud of her really; ever since he’d known her, she’d been to afraid to even go out on the porch, or so it had seemed. He was glad they got this far. ”So, now that we’ve made it this far… what do you have in mind next?" he asked, still smiling. Whatever she wanted to do, it was up to her.

Truth was, she'd gotten this far and she didn't want to go back and ruin how far she'd gotten. She shook her head for a no to go back inside. As soon as his hands slipped away from her, she felt empty. She mumbled some curse words to herself, as she began walking along the cracked sidewalk of her house. Watching the grass in her lawn move in the wind, her hair moving as well, but she hadn't exactly noticed it since it wasn't blowing in her face. "What do you want to do, James?" She asked, as she spun around, her hair smoothly following behind her.
He knew that other people thought that it was awkward for someone to never want to step outside, ever. However, he wasn’t ‘other people.’ He was his own person, and he cared about ‘other people’ and other non ‘other people.’ He was just one of those guys that didn’t get very angry that easily. He couldn’t think of a single person he had ever been angry at. Truly angry, that is. There were times when he had been frustrated with a few certain people, but he hadn’t ever hated anyone. He didn’t want to experience the feeling of hate, either.
He smiled as she looked him in the eye, asking of what to do next. Hell if he knew. Basically, she could do anything that she wanted. Go for a walk, run around, play games, pull weeds out in the yard (James had been lacking the time to pull them all out for her.) Whatever she wanted to do was up to her, really. Whatever you wanna do… it’s possible. he said, releasing her from his arms. If she wanted to go back inside, they could always try another day.

He knew that she could do anything that she wanted to do, if she had just set her mind to it. He used to think that he was unable to do certain things, but once he tried it, he found that he was good at some things. Like this game… basketball? The game where you have to throw the ball in the round hoop. Yes, he had played once at the old playground, using an old abandoned rubber ball. He was pretty good at it, too.
When asked of what he wanted to do, he shrugged. Now that he was actually out here with her, he wasn’t sure of what they were going to do. He recalled that earlier she had wanted to go on a walk. Do ya still wanna go for that walk? I can show ya ‘round the area, if that’s what you want. He replied gently, hoping that she was up for it. He liked going on long walks.

It was just so hard, to believe that she was caught up in the outside worries. Her mind tracing back to the first day she had decided that the house was the safest place. She wouldn't let anyone touch her, and she just ran into her home, and shut the door. Scared of everyone, because no one would ever believed her in anything that she did. She didn't want to face the dangers that the earth held out for her. That was something she wasn't willing to communicate with, or ever touch her body to. "Uhm..Yeah. A walk sounds good." She told him, as she looked around quickly, wondering why she had ever suggested coming outside.
He took a few strides down the steps, while waiting for her answer. He needed to go on a walk himself; just to think. He seemed to be thinking a lot more now. He wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Everyday, he found himself deeper and deeper in thought. He wasn’t sure of what to think of it. But, it was the truth.
He smiled as she was still up for a walk. Alright, he said, offering a hand for he incase she was slightly afraid of being outside. He understood her fear, and would do anything to demolish it and help her get over. Hopefully this would help.

Watching as James replied with an 'alright' for the walk, she gave her own nod to the male. Obviously, he was going to try and help her out. But, Aimee needed to figure this out on her own. So, with that light heart of hers, she kissed his cheek with mild interest, before she put her hand in his, and begna walking with him down the cracked sidewalk. It'd be years since she had stepped upon the sidewalk, feeling the ridged steps beneath her. She swung their hands a little bit, just getting a bit happy that she had finally come outside. For the lack of a better day, or life rather.
