OUT OF CHARACTER
Private for James. IN CHARACTER
The young girl walked impatiently around her house, looking at everything she could get her fingers on. She'd just restored her face with eyeliner, and cover-up, and brushed her hair. She thought about maybe calling James at the his house, and asking him if he could bring some hand-made hair dye to her possibly, but figured that it was best she left it how it was. Lately, she'd been more off than usual, finding that her beliefs in almost everything were gone. Everyone seemed to have something against her, and she was rather upset at the fact that she was being tortured. She often looked out the window into her backyard, just to see the garden below. But, she was afraid to set foot outside, actually outside. You never knew what could happen to you, and she was rather afraid of the real world. James was the only one that actually understood her.
Perhaps it was sheer luck that they were friends. Besides, her ferret never got along with anyone, but James got along with Xiies just fine. Xiies was a rather solemn creature, he was half-tamed. Hows that? Well, at a young age, he was forcefully abused just like Aimee, because he stole things and hid them. Just like ferrets do. Well, Aimee picked him up from a the street, and knew that Xiies was probably the best fit for her. Aimee sat down on the lonely couch, wondering why it was taking James so long to get home from his house with the food. He should've been here minutes ago. There wasn't that much on the list. Maybe there was crowds?. Yes, crowds. But then again, what if he got in a fight? Things went through her mind immediately, the thought of not having a friend to take care of her anymore. Aimee could take care of herself in the house, but what about the stuff she needed from the real world?
We rule. Sorry for the suckageness of this post. <3
I don't need no [d r u g s] to calm me
James scurried throughout the house, frantically trying to find objects that were on the list that he had held out in front of him with his own hand. He was another errand for his friend Aimee, whom he also fancied. She was his friend that stayed inside a lot of the time, out of fear of going outside. He understood her fear of it; he probably would be just the same as well if he was in her position. But then again, he was a coward.
He had been late getting to the house; he had accidentally hit a small canine on his way to the house. Being who he was, he couldn’t stand to see some innocent animal die because of something that was his fault. He called a medic, and they surely took care of it. So he was free to go to the house.
He finished picking up his items, and went to the stove to check the time, quickly. He finally got out of there, and got in the car and zoomed off. They was a lot less traffic than there had been earlier. It was quite nice.
He finally made it to his final destination; the home of Aimee. He opened the door quietly before shutting it behind him. "Sorry it took me so long," he said as he walked in, smiling sweetly, just like he normally would. He hadn’t meant to take so much time.

OUT OF CHARACTER
Actually, I thought your post was rather cute =3 IN CHARACTER
Aimee watched the door, waiting for him to come through that door anyday now. She'd been a bit upset all day. She didn't know what over, but the fact that Xiies seemed to be sick today, so she figured that could be it. Or, it was her time of month. She didn't know. Rather, she didn't want to know. She didn't want to lash out at James for her problems, especially him. He was the only friend that had ever cared, hell, he was her only friend. Kira has no theory of how they actually met, so blah. Casey you come up with something. Her hands trailed into her tight-jean pockets, wondering why the hell he was, before she heard a twist of the door lock, and immediately her heart jumped two beats, before she saw that it was James.
He opened the door, came in and closed it. She walked over calmly, and took one of the bags into her arms, and walked into the small-roomed kitchen. She put it onto the kitchen table, and looked through the stuff. Yes, she had what she mostly needed. Sour gummi worms. They were the only things that always made her happy. Sitting at home, eating her sours, and watching a bit of TV. The rest of it was bread, seedless grape jelly, peanut butter, some sodas, apples and grapes. Her main things she needed. She smiled at James, "Thanks, James." She replied, with a smile that lasted no more than 5 seconds, before her attention stirred back to the groceries.
He felt like this was his second home, really. Of course, he had his own home, but he was rarely ever there, on account of his always being at Aimee’s. He couldn’t complain though. He really liked her. It just seemed like they had a lot in common since that day they had met. It was kind of odd how they met though. Knowing that someone lived in this house and hardly ever came out was slightly strange to him back then. He had knocked until she had answered, and from then on, they were friends. That was quite awhile ago, so he was glad to say that he actually knew her.
He smiled as she thanked him, and began searching through the bags. He brought his bag in the kitchen as well, throwing her a happy, "Anytime," as he began putting away the items that she had already seen up into the cabinets and in the fridge. He was used to helping people, and he loved it, which could be the reason why he was the caretaker of Afterglow. He enjoyed his job, truthfully.

<3 Your welcomezz. IN CHARACTER
Normally, Aimee was a rather depressed kind of person, who sat in her house all day, and ate. Yeah, she sometimes sang in her freetime, yeah, she found that she was actually quite good at times. She'd never exactly let anyone listen to her. James had heard her once, but it was on accident. He had overheard her, and she immediately had stopped. Aimee just wasn't one to show anyone what she was capable of. She'd been abused in her past life, and rather busted out of everyones life. So many dangerous things happened outside. Like gunshots, and car wrecks, and theft. She just didn't want to be a part of it. She'd rather keep her life safe now. The reason why she had James, was the fact that he kept her safe from insanity.
'Anytime' was spoken casually to her, as he began to put some things up into the cabinets. She thought about asking him if he could go get some movie from the movie rental store, but figured he'd done enough for the day. He went grocery shopping for her once a week, seriously, what kind of guy did that for her? Well, to her it was a friend, to him it was because he liked her as a friend and more. But who was she to blame but herself, for never finding an attraction to any guy, because of her frequent abused from when she was little, and then turning into a lifes abuse. "I don't know why you keep doing this for me." She said softly, as she put some of her own things away into the cabinets, and left the sour gummi worms out on the counter.
He honestly did feel good about doing this for Aimee; anyone, actually. He was just the type of guy to do whatever needed to be done. He would do anything anyone asked him to, unless there was no possible way that he could do it, and that was very rare. He wasn’t a procrastinator (most of the time). He liked to get right down to business no matter what ‘business’ was. He just enjoyed helping people, was all, and Aimee was no exception to that.
He shrugged as she said that she didn’t know why exactly he was doing this for her, and he couldn’t come up with a better answer other than, "I guess I just enjoy it." That was pretty much the truth; he enjoyed spending time with her, as well as helping her out around the house and such. It wasn’t that big of a deal to him. The only thing that mattered to him was that she was getting what she needed. Not only because he knew her personally, but because that was his job as well.

nu loser. =3 Aimee likes the loser. As a friend, just not more. She's a freestyle lass. IN CHARACTER
Her mind switched from James, to Xiies in a matter of seconds. Realizing, that she had yet to see if he was any better than this morning. Sure, it was the meaning of life that they get sick, but aside from James, Xiies was her partner in crime. Although, thats why Aimee never stepped foot outside (crime) that was still what she called Xiies and herself. James was her outsideman. If you get it. After he had found someone actually living in the house, they'd gotten along together. She figured it was just gods helper, that he was sent. But then, you never knew with James.
"Xiies is sick. He won't move very much, and he has thrown up his food three times since this morning." She answered in a sweet, and smooth voice, knowing that Xiies was probably under some wierd sickness. Aimee felt the need for an ice tea at the moment, so, she grabbed the unopened bag of ice, and a knife. She held the ice bag with one hand, then with the other, she began to cut at the bag. "Fuck." She mumbled softly, as she was not a very loud cusser when it came to life. She pulled her finger away from the bag, seeing her finger bleeding only lightly from the knife against her skin. "Where's the band-aids?" Sad thing, when you didn't know where the band-aids were in your own house. But HEY, she never needed to use band-aids, really.
Normally, if he had been standing in anyone else’s house, he would have felt misplaced or like he didn’t belong. However, when he came around here, it was quite the opposite. He saw her place as a second home; he knew just about every inch of the house, and that was probably a good thing in case she ever lost anything of important value. So far, of his …what? 8 months of knowing her. Nothing really big had happened; everything went through smoothly, as planned. Perhaps that was for the best.
Aw, poor Xiies. Xiies was her pet ferret, whom Aimee almost always had with her. He didn’t mind though; he had became pretty fond of the ferret in the months he had known Aimee and her little pet. His thoughts were interrupted by an uttered curse word, as he wandered over to her to see what it was all about, to see that she had cut her finger with a knife. God, how he hated blood. He’d search the whole house if all he had to do was not look at that. He figured she’d have some in the bathroom or something. ”Hm, we might have some upstairs, if you’d like me to go get you one," he replied as he walked over to the doorway, leading to the stairs, waiting for some sort of response. The cut didn’t look that bad.

Re: never ends
OUT OF CHARACTER
-wonders when she'll ever find out, and will plan on a reaction to it- IN CHARACTER
Usually, aimee was rather a freak when she saw blood. But, the thing was, she was scared of having something happen to her again. She didn't know much about life anymore. Ever since she left her fathers house, because of the incident that had changed her life from the beginning, she had become a tad afraid of any male. Besides James, but it was the fact that James never gave up on her, that made her know that James would never hurt her. James had never hurt, not once. He'd always cared, always held her when she was upset. Scared, or petrified of something or the other. When they would watch horror movies, he would help her, and hold her close when she found a scary part. No, she'd never thought that he did that because he liked her.
”Hm, we might have some upstairs, if you’d like me to go get you one," She pulled her finger to her mouth, and let her saliva bury over her finger. She pulled it out for a moment, "Please?" She replied in a soft voice, but audible for him to hear, before she lifted herself up on the counter, and looked down at the floor. "Gosh, Aimes.Your such a moron. Stop making him get you things. Your brave enough." She told herself out of pity, as she felt her eyes turn into soft eyes, as she looked towards the window.
Truth was, he wanted out of the room, to get away from the blood. He had a serious phobia of blood, if it wasn’t his own. It was one of his downfalls. He seriously cringed at the sight of blood. He ran up the stairs quickly, to fetch a band-aid. He couldn’t seem to find one however. Instead, he grabbed a washcloth, before running back down the stairs.
”Sorry, we didn’t seem to have any, so I just got this." He held the washcloth out for her, as he moved toward her, just wanting her to take it. Blood wasn’t the best thing to him right now, nor had it ever been. It was the worst thing ever, actually.

Re: never ends
OUT OF CHARACTER
poor Aimee. She's all pitiful, because she feels like she pushing him to do things. IN CHARACTER
It was how strange she felt, all because she felt like she was bossing around her best friend. She knew that he wanted to help, or that she saw, and he liked doing it. But at the moment, she felt so over-ruly over him. She hated it. She sincerely did, she looked still out the window, knowing that he searching upstairs for the band-aids. Somehow, she wished she could runaway, like those teens do when they're miserable. But then, there is the fact that she is afraid to go outside. Knowing that everyone could be waiting for her outside, just to kill her fair and square.
”Sorry, we didn’t seem to have any, so I just got this." She grabbed the washcloth, and turned her body away from him. One, to not let him see the blood. Second of all, not to show how pity-strucken her face was at the moment. She felt rather pitiful, telling him to do things for her. Without a word, she covered the washling over her finger, then walking out of the kitchen, and into the den, and sat down on the indianred leather couch. She sat indian style on the couch, and layed her down on the arm of the couch. She didn't want James to leave, but she just didn't know why she felt like over-powering him. She felt like she was, and she wasn't trying to be. But, he always seemed so helpful, even though he liked to.
Blood in any form freaked him out to no end, almost literally. That was why he could never be a medic or anything like that. He was content to be where he was. He could barely handle little bleeding scrapes; how was he supposed to handle peoples’ insides? It would be simply impossible for him without fainting. He was probably being a little sissy boy about it, but hey, it was better than throwing up or fainting all over the place; that’d be the worst.
She took the washcloth from his hands, and went into the other room, and he lingered in the kitchen again for just a few moments, catching his breath. He didn’t really have anything to say, nor did he have anything to do for the rest of the day (as usual) so he decided he’d probably just stay here for the day. Heck, they could probably watch a movie or something. He wasn’t sure what they day would have in store for them. However, he’d ask her first.
He strutted his way into the den, taking a seat on a chair across from the couch where Aimee was sitting. ”So, what do you wanna do today?" he asked, cheerfully. He was up for just about anything, really. He didn’t have anything to do, and there was nothing better than spending time with his best friend/the girl he fancied. Nothing in the world.

It wasn't like Aimee to be like this. Usually, she always had something to say. But she was rather at a loss for words. She'd been accused by her own leader, Sita, that she sort of looked like a werewolf. A gun pointed at her, she'd ran back into the house, scared as hell. Then, they went for tea. How interesting. Aime looked up, noticing that James had come into the room, and sat down in front of her. Her green eyes drifted upwards, looking at his almost automatically. What did she want to do today? Well, she wanted to honestly 'try' to step outside. Maybe 'try' and go for a walk. "I want to try and go for a walk." She said quickly, as she bit her lip and looked out the window.
He wasn’t sure of what he would suggest if she had no ideas of what they were to do for the day. He sucked at coming up with ideas, and knowing him, it’d be something that would lead to other things, just him being him. It was sort of disturbing, once he thought about it. He’d never dreamt of fucking a girl before (and he was only about twenty, and by then, mostly all guys had, but he was weird). It was weird to think that. He pushed it aside, hoping it wouldn’t be an obsessive thought.
He smiled as she said that she wanted to try to go on a walk today. He nodded, standing up, and walking over to her, offering a hand for her to take. It was a friendly gesture, although he’d enjoy it much more than that. Ah, what wonderful effects of infatuation.

As he got himself up, and came over to her, she smiled. He reached out a hand, and she felt a smile tug at her luscious lips. He wanted to hold her hand? She looked at it for a moment, before she lifted up her other hand, and slipped it easily into his. It was like her hands perfectly fit into his. She got up, feeling like she was weak. She took a deep breath, as she walked towards the door. She opened it lightly, feeling a small gust of wind hit her face. She closed her eyes faintly, as she walked out onto the porch, and felt like she was about to die. Ohgod. All she needed to know, was that James would make sure she was safe.
Even though he was very fond of his friend, he dare not obsess over her. He wasn’t the type to obsess, until he was positive that whoever he liked had liked him back at least some point in time. And so far, he didn’t know anything of Aimee liking him. It wasn’t exactly heart breaking, however; it wasn’t like she didn’t know who he was. No, she probably knew him better than anyone else on the planet did. It was friends like her that he was thankful for.
He felt her grip on his hand, as he pulled her up. He let go, letting her walk outside and onto the veranda. He followed, keeping his distance, just to see how far she could go without him. Yes, he was testing her. He didn’t know for what, exactly, but he knew that someday, she might enjoy going outside. He knew that he loved being outside.

Poor Aimee. She's all 'gah!' IN CHARACTER
Aimee was now seeming to start the hyperventilating process. The air, getting to her crisp lungs. Like her cigarettes did when she did the whole pack in a day. Lately, she'd been desperately trying to quit. But, nothing worked. The hyperventilating seemed to grow in size, as she looked at the rusty rails of the porch. "I can't do it!" She yelled, as she flung herself back towards James. Falling into his arms, and holding him close. She said the last thing she said into a whisper, as she clung to him. She didn't want to now.
Her fear of the outdoors did not bother James one bit. He had always tried to be supportive of her these past eight months, and he was planning to continue to do so. He’d do whatever it takes for his friend. He didn’t care what obstacles were in the way. He was going to stick with her through whatever life brought through either of their ways, even it was just something small, like a fear of the outdoors. He wasn’t going to let that stop them.
Next thing he knew, her calm demeanor had turned into a fit of yelling and clinging onto him. He only gave her a light hug in return before thinking about what he would say next. He knew she could do it, if she wanted to bad enough. He was going to try to help her through this, and that he would. It was his duty. And… he wanted to do it. ”Yes, you can… here." he said, releasing his grip from her, putting one hand on her shoulder, and another hand being offered for her to take and to step down the steps with.

James gave her a light hug, before putting a hand on her shoulder, and holding a hand for her to grab hold of. ”Yes, you can… here." Aimee looked at the hand, before she placed both of her hands in one hand, as she slowly climbed down the stairs with him. Under her breath, she whispered 'omg' several times, watching his hair move slightly as they climbed downwards. His hair moved quite slowly, but every step they took, his hair jumped a bit, whilst hers stayed the perfect straight it was.
She took his extended hand, and he smiled for knowing that he was helping (as well as the fact that she took his hand). All he had wanted to do was to help her. He wanted to help anyone that he possibly could. It was just who he was. Even though he was shy, he still enjoyed helping others. He couldn’t ever leave anyone in trouble. No, he was the good guy.
He led her down the stairs, smiling. Good, they had made it this far, now if only they could go a little further. However, a smile lit his face before anything else, wrapping her up in a hug. ”Told ya," he playfully retorted, poking a little fun at her. It really helped in this situations.

Her green eyes glanced around, feeling like she was about to faint from touching the outside earth like this. She felt as if everyone, at least who was outside at this hour, was staring at her. Like, she was crazy. Which, in no doubt, she was. Her eyes glanced around the oaken place, finding herself being led down the stairs by James. as soon as the hit the bottom of the stairs, her eyes widened, and he had sprawled a hug out for her. As he had strung a hug around her, she gave a warm hug back. Although, there was still the part of her that wanted to run back to her sweet abyss she called home.
