Um...
perhaps for the same reasons he PM'd Sundown ranting and raving about Sam? He can't help himself and really hasn't figured out that he needs help.

Seriously.

I know, I know, some of you guys are really nice and want to give the benefit of the doubt to everyone from Carch to Larry Brown, but sometimes people can't appreciate those benefits and are actually baffled when others don't want to give them.

Re: naaaaahhhh
Yeah

You can dump cookies all you want, but unless you have a pretty sophisticated way to mask your IP address, you are banned.

I emptied my cookies, i logged out, just to see if i could read, and i couldn't, on 2 different computer with vastly different ip addresses.

My conclusion was that my banning was based on my ip addresses that i most often logged in on.

Of course, after i realized that i stopped trying too, i didn't go looking for a third ip address so i could defend my self against Dalembert Fluffers for being too much a fan of Andre Iguodala :) _

Re: Um...
Hey I waited a few days to call it, but you've got to admit it's suspicious.

A new poster or a newly ambitious lurker launches into posting 19 times in 3 days, speaks with familiarity with board members, seems to at least mention Sam in most posts and at times uses very Carchian language like "lobs and inside feeds," hates Marc Jackson, hated O'Brien and his system and believes he was fired because of Sam, has a problem with coaches that don't play the young guys, has faith in Willie Green, and in this thread goes on and on and on to defend why Sam's contract is fair market and how this will work out.

While each one of those points taken alone is not a remarkable point of view, together it can't help but smell like Carch. Having his beliefs shoved down my throat every day for a year just makes them all too easy to spot. I will admit that if it is Carch, he's taken a much better tone and healthy approach to making his arguments. I suppose it could always be a reformed Ricky Prior!

Re: Um...
The final straw was that a brand new person would know that Kev was the one to go to for inside information and addressing him as if he already knew him. A new person, even one who just lurked all this time, would have at least said hello and introduced himself first. Nobody just jumps into this board running unless they've posted here before.

There's too many little familiarities. Too many things that don't scream (or even whisper) 'new guy'.

Of course, the final 'obviousness' comes when the realization that Carch was taken off the banned list the same day 'Nemesis' showed up is taken into account.

Give it up dude. We know it's you. It's all good, though. No hard feelings on my end. The rest is up to you.

He's got 3 different names over on realgm. It's kind of comical, actually. it's like he creates one so people will lend credence to his arguments, but last time I spotted him after 2 posts.

Aha! I knew there had to be something up. SixerDogg seemed sensible.....and we don't have sensible people sign up more than once or twice a year ;)

Seriously, if I wasn't a mod there, I would probably barely post there. People like bubbachuck just make that place unbearable. If the kid's older than 12, then something stunted his development.

Re: .
speaking of the insane asylum. Joey/76erRon finally got himself banned on FanHome. Thanks for the heads up Theo. He ended up calling me a Nazi, which was more than I needed to get him banned. What a jerkoff.

Re: .
Yeah, bubbachuck is very annoying. I try to stay away from his posts, but he makes it really hard. Between you, sixers hoops, prerak, psykosacul, and a couple others, it's more bearable than philly.com. Plus, they have the wiretap at the top of the page.

This is still the place to be as far as I'm concerned, but the above mentioned people have some pretty interesting insight as well.

Re: .
oh, there are definitely some people with good insight. some people with great 'round the league knowledge, and a lot of knowledgable capologists.

You just have to dig through the crap and adolescence. That's what I love about this place. For the most part, everyone here is mature. Discussions usually have some meaning.

realgm is okay, but in the last few years it somehow started to turn into the espn message board.

i guess our old friend Ron is up to his old tricks again. gosh i haven't been to fanhome since way back then but i just posted a few weeks back to check if i could still post.

lbd,

i wouldn't have guessed that you're sixerdogg.

No problem - I actually read that thread and was wondering how long it would have taken you to actually ban him :lol

I've read a few times the Real GM Board, but like dabods said, it's unbearable...and I've read the main board to realize that.

There was a thread in particular about the Atlantic and people were posting the best starting 5 in the Atlantic, and all had Kidd, Iverson, Carter, Webber and Dalembert. What's funny is that those people were saying that the Sixers sucked...even if they acknowledge that three of the starting 5 are Sixers...

There are a few posters who make perfect sense, and surprise, SixerDog is one of them :D

pointguard86 though stinks, his insights are crazy ;)
(j/k of course)

Re: .
Just for the record, carch was banned for a month, and that month has passed. So even if it is him, he could be posting under his regualr user name, since he isn't technically banned anymore.

I don't know if it's him or not, but anyone is welcome to post here who isn't violating the rules. If he can restrain himself and has learned a lesson, I'm not so concerned about what username he's using. If not..... Well, then he won't be around long.

Please allow me to introduce myself

And you are half correct. True, I have posted here in the past. But certainly not as the compulsive "Carch" and not in the recent past. And if I wanted my identity to be known, I would have told you so. I would prefer to forego the warm and fluffy welcoming party and get right to the point of the board. I am in the business of talking Sixers, not making friends. I can see from the discussions already generated on this thread that there is a certain territorial element here that I'd quite frankly rather avoid. But of course, I already knew this hence my anonymity. And besides, you don't need to know who I am to talk Sixers. So to those who want to actually engange in talking about this team, I am all ears and would be glad to converse.
