Hobbies :: japanese anime, samurai movies, pets, Rubik's cubing, digital photography, Jungle music...
Personal Bio :: I first learned to blow glass 10 years ago in the spring of 1995 by watching pipers at work and then later on trying it on my own. Working with glass seemed to come naturally for me. Once I Realized how much I loved glassblowing I decided to attend school to further my skills with the torch. I acquired the most important base skills in flameworking from Joeseph Luisi at The Salem Community College Scientific Glassblowing School in New Jersey. Over the years I have studied glass in lampworking workshops or classes from Sue Ellen Fowler, Robert Mikleson, Emilio Santini, Dennis Briening, Roger Paramore with Tim Dryer, Eric Goldschmidt with Steve Gelb, and Milon Townsend. In the future I would like to study under Cesare Tofolo and especially Loren Stump. In the Glass Pipe world I was mostly influenced by a few blowers from over 10 years ago. They are Jake K, Jerry K, Greg K, Dan K, and Bob Snoddgrass(none of these blowers share the same last name as far as I know). Although I have never met Bob or Dan K, I was influenced greatly by both of their glass work. Jerry and Greg knew and learned from them both. I no longer produce or manufacture pipes for sale. I am mostly into making jewelry such as pendants and earings. I also like to make perfume bottles, marbles, sculptures, and I am starting to make adult sex toys as well.
