 The AMBER Alert was created in 1996 after a young Texan girl was kidnapped and brutally murdered while riding her bicycle. Since it's creation the entire United States has found ways to incorporate the AMBER alert system into its everyday activites. Radio stations report AMBER alerts daily; California's freeways have installed displays reading off the license plates of child abductors.
The AMBER Alert has now taken the next step and jumped onto the Information Superhighway.
