Working in a school setting
Is it possible in the UK to work in a school setting, i.e. in one more several schools where, like teachers, you get the holidays off? All I know of there is rehab. and hospital settings - I've never heard of a SLT go into a mainstream (or SpEd) school (in fact, I lived in the UK for 25 years and almost never came across a SpEd school!). Are there lots of posts in schools that I haven't heard about, or do they not exist, or should I look more towards the other work environments like (more health care related)?

Any answers, even from non-SLTs or SLT students who have experience in relation to my question, greatly appreciated!
