Wild Epiplatys dageti sttling in
The six (4M2F) Wild E.dageti I've got a forthnight ago have been settling in well. They are in a bare bottomed tank (back & bottom painted black) with a floating mop and a small piece of java fern. Their tank mates are 9 Corydoras habrosus - a pygmy species of corydoras.

They get fed blackworms mainly and recently they started becoming quite bold and last night eagerly fed on flakes. Therefore prospects of maintaining this species is looking very good.

This particular collection seem to have an orange chin. As for other markings I need to wait a bit because all the males are different sizes will note how much variation there is once they reach the size of the largest male.

I've had this species many many years ago; I think it was the third species I ever acquired! Hopefully will start getting eggs from them soon.
