The type of Guild EA is
What type of guild is Everlasting Alliance? Well there seems to be two main types of guilds on The Rathe and variations of these two.
First Type is a “Raiding Guild”
Second Type is a “Friends and Family Guild”
(WARNING this type of guild is not always what they claim to be)
Everlasting Alliance is a little different we are a true friends Guild
Maybe you work fulltime and don't feel like playing everyday…You might work away from home and come home for the weekends… Perhaps you are a low level and have no clue as to what playing style best suits you... You might not want a guild but need to use a guild hall… Maybe you are working toward joining another guild just need more aa and a few levels… You might not be sure on what guild to join...Maybe in between guilds...Casual player that levels twice a year...not intrested in raider...maybe trade skills is great and level 35 is good enough....New to the game and not intrested in the higher zones yet...you heve been there done that and need a break...Perhaps you just want to log on and chat with friends...married with children two jobs and only play once a month...or just like our Guild and want to stay forever.
Then this is the guild for you!!!
1 We welcome those who Solo and never want to group.
2 We welcome all levels above 12.
2 Welcome members whose only need is the Guild hall.
3 We encourage players to join to improve their character so they can qualify for high level guild.
4 We allow alts characters to join.
5 We allow members to be in more then one Guild.
6 We celebrate when a member leaves the guild to explore a different playing style and we welcome a member back when they need a home. No explanation is required.
7 We welcome and encourage other guilds to recruit our members.
8 You don’t need an Everlasting Alliance tag to remain friends.
9 We don’t mind if you disappear for years at a time.
10 Any member may post and run a raid with the understanding that maybe no one will show up, however there might be someone interested in participating.
11 Raiding is not mandatory, no questions asked and no excuses are needed.
12 No asking for buffs, rez, amour, plat, power levels, trade skill items. We want a Guilt free atmosphere, where each member can log on and do as they please without feeling any obligations to drop everything and go help others. Try using the LFG tool to explain your needs or the guild armory.
13 A EA LFG chat channel will be available for those in the mood to group. Please feel free to invite good friends and family outside the guild to join, everyone is welcomed.
14 We recommend using the LFG tool, it can sort by guild name, if a member is not listed in the LFG tool and they are not in the EA LFG chat channel chances are they don’t want to group at that time.
15 We encourage and love it when members do not answer us in guild chat. We acknowledge the silence as meaning not interested, AFK or didn’t see the message. We also acknowledge that maybe our friends could not find the heart to say no. Therefore each member should be happy they got silence and realize they have many good friends pretending to be AFK to avoid saying no.
16 We also encourage announcing in guild chat that there is room in a group or you available for a group etc. However no member should ever reply are feel obligated to reply to such announcements. If someone is interested they will send a tell those not interested should ignore the announcement.
17 We welcome separate groups within the guild that are united in a common goal with a different playing style.
EXAMPLE 20 members have defined “mandatory raiding” as fun for them. We won’t bother them and they better not bother us.
18 We welcome an alliance with another guild, so that members who are interested and have an occasional raiding urge may check it out. Who knows they might like it and leave us.
19 No member is better then another and no member’s needs are more important. This guild does not care about level, armor, AA, years playing, or time played each month. Each member pays money to play this game. Each member wants to advance in strength level and armor. Each member wants to enjoy playing and have fun.
20 When you can't advance anymore with us, you are no longer having fun perhaps you want to try something different, we are happy to see you go. Why? Because it is a game, and we want you to have fun. That is what you are paying for.
Great to see that you are still around, and keeping things going. You actually made me want to log in and get signed up with you again.
Can't get on right now though, taking a break from moving. My wife only gives me fifteen minutes every two hours. We are going to be moving over the next couple of days, but I may get on a bit at the late night times.
I'm still doing the same thing, logging on once or twice a week for an hour at most, so I think I "fit" into your rules just perfectly
