The Wedding Night
------
A shadow agent of dubious loyalties lurks the gilded and decaying halls of the Potomac Empire... an innocent little girl.
------
A young magus bride of unknown power ascends to the throne of an Empire, her past and her myriad enemies threaten her on all fronts.
------
These childer of Caine battle to survive another night... one of the most memorable nights of their unlives. Thier allies in place, their enemies moving in tandem, the great board is set, the plans are made... and all shall fall where it may.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
THE WEDDING PARTY (major power brokers, each with subordinates not listed):
For the Groom:
-Pierce de la Croix, Ventrue Prince of the Potomac Empire. Pierce is the groom-to-be in his political marriage with Clan Tremere.
-Roman Polloch, velvet-golved Ventrue Primogen with an iron fist
-German Corazon, golden-toungued Ventrue elder, newly awakened from a sleep of two centuries.
-Sylvia Rothstein, Ventrue Elder, she is the matriarch of the extensive and wealthy House of Rothstein. She has recently become mysteriously beautiful, though no one dares ask how she came to look as she does, of course, for she is the richest vampire in the entire city.
-Philipe, Toreador Primogen, he seems to have swung in favor of Prince de la Croix of late... especially after the awakening of his broodmate, the former Prince of Alexandria, Jacob McAufee. His distaste for Clan Tremere is widely known.
And for the Bride:
-Cleo Saint Sebastian Carmen Maria Santa Lucia Moncada, born a half-vampire to a noble family of Lasombra, the Tremere Lord prepares for her political marriage with Clan Ventrue.
-Father Lucas, Lasombra shadowmancer and erstwhile Sabbat secret agent, he has arisen from death after travelling to Spritual Enoch as a young lady. She looks cute and spreades the flowers for Empress-elect Cleo as she marches down the red carpet.
-Luis Moncada, Lasombra Cardinal of the Sabbat, comes in force to give his grand-daughter away...
-Nikoli, Brujah Primogen, stands to oppose Cleo after her 'betrayal'.
-Nadia, Brujah Baron and CEO of Manassas Development Cooperative, she is Nikoli's faithful and loyal childe and lieutenant, yet posesses power of her own...
-Melisand Granger, Toreador Keeper of Elysium, she has prepared festivities unrivaled in the blood wedding and subsequent coronation to come
-Dane, Toreador Baron and "party promotor", he has latched on to Cleo like a chirpy poodle as he schools the bride-to-be in the art of a Royal Kindred Wedding.
-Sakito Oonishi, Toreador Elder, he has reformed the S'eth Hadar fighting force and stays close to Cleo to protect her from her myriad enemies.
Other Witnesses:
-Nebasha, Setite High Priestess of Anacostia, her latest game seems to involve thin-bloods and a Jacob look-alike
-Sandra Polloch, Ventrue pariah, she is the socially-disgraced yet politically reborn anarch leader. Cleo has just found that she is manipulating one of the two groups of thin-bloods causing a near-breach in the Masquerade.
....Ventrue Methuselah and Ephor Karl Eichmann, Tremere Pontifex Peter Dorfman, Tremere Lord Kairns, Malkavian elder Joan (or the presence inhabiting her), Nosferatu Methuselah Caius the Transcended, Toreador Ancient Samal the Archetect, Tremere Councillor Meerlinda, and many more have their pawns and (sometimes) selves in play in this flurry of moves in the game of the Jyhad.
