The current month is Patchwall, the first month of autumn, 586.
An influx of visitors, exiles and merchants have arrived, due not only to the booming trade that is taking place in Greyhawk but it's apparent safety in this time of war and uncertainty. So there is still much activity and business even though war surrounds the Flanaess. Events, stranger than normal, have began to manifest themselves on the streets of Greyhawk. For the moment, no one seems to know how or why these bizarre occurances are happening, although it is only a matter of time before they come to the attention of the powerful and knowing.
| This squat pyramid, made of brown stone, look deceptively plain and simple beside the grand temples and mansions of the Upper City. However, entry into the temple sanctum dispels any illusions of humility or modesty. Crystal candeliers, golden ornaments, silver statuary and ceremonial candle holders of platinum are the order of the day. The temples congregation is small, but their donations to teh temple coffers belie their numbers, for Zilchus is the greaters god most favoured by businessmen, moneychangers and merchants. The interior consists of a great, square chamber with a huge stone door in each side, leading outdoors. The room is airy, with a reflective marble floor, black columns arranged in a square about the center of the room, and several cushioned benches. Most of the valuables are on display, ready for use. |
