The current month is Patchwall, the first month of autumn, 586.
An influx of visitors, exiles and merchants have arrived, due not only to the booming trade that is taking place in Greyhawk but it's apparent safety in this time of war and uncertainty. So there is still much activity and business even though war surrounds the Flanaess. Events, stranger than normal, have began to manifest themselves on the streets of Greyhawk. For the moment, no one seems to know how or why these bizarre occurances are happening, although it is only a matter of time before they come to the attention of the powerful and knowing.
| This is the most popular inn and gathering spot for elves in the Free City. It is quiet and dignisfied, as befits an establishment for that ancient race. Only those of elven blood, or the guests of elves, are generally admitted (though an occasional human noble or wealthy merchant will bluster his way into the place). The aloofness of the other guests and the employees is generally enough to dissuade such boors from returning. The Star of Celene is quietly decorated, mostly in wood. The floors are polished mahogony. The rooms are large, with a great deal of space between the tables. The restaurant serves a variety of excellent dishes, specialising in herbal salads and vegetable casseroles. The Star of Celene has several very comfortable, very private apartments. These are not for rent, but rather are offered to official visitors from Celen and other elvish realms. |
