The current month is Patchwall, the first month of autumn, 586.
An influx of visitors, exiles and merchants have arrived, due not only to the booming trade that is taking place in Greyhawk but it's apparent safety in this time of war and uncertainty. So there is still much activity and business even though war surrounds the Flanaess. Events, stranger than normal, have began to manifest themselves on the streets of Greyhawk. For the moment, no one seems to know how or why these bizarre occurances are happening, although it is only a matter of time before they come to the attention of the powerful and knowing.
| This penal institution houses young offenders who are judged too redeemable to be placed in keeping with the hardened criminals at the Citadel. Perhaps 120 youths and young men, with a score of firm, but not overly brutal guards, live here in the evening. Every morning at dawn the guards march the prisoners to a different location in the city where they perform mundane tasks of garbage collection, street repair, and the like. The prisoners return to the workhouse at sunset. |
