Events: Cycle of Caine: 1,225 Post Deluge: nearly one milion years ago

End of an Era of Darkness
The Childer of Caine rule supreme, there is no masquerade as all is under their grasp... or so they hope.

In the height of their hubris, the Childer of Caine who survived the Deluge traveled beyond the holy blast plane of divine retribution to what would one day become the "fertile crescent" of later generations.

The Childer of Caine had a great battle of some sort that ended in the death and diablerie of the Second Generation.

Following this event, or shortly before, the diaspora of Cainites formed two towns from among the refugees of the former Enochian Civilization (as well as other tribes of the Childer of Seth, et al).

Two Great City-States
Along the River of Life, Vaid'har [ventrue], Arikel [toreador], Mekhet [true brujah], Sutekh [set] Ashur [cappadocius], and Saulot [salubri] set down roots, sired childer and grandchilder in their bastion of science and order: ensoh-called-gomorrah

Several other "Antediluvians," or those existing before the deluge, brought their broods to other places, following other tribes. It is known, for instance, that the Ennoim [gangrel] and Ravannah [ravnos] live outside the cities. The itenerate Lykid [nosferatu] have no antediluvian willing to claim them, and exist in the underclass of both cities.

Along the river of Shadow, the Sha'a [lasombra], Malkavi [malkavians], Triolim [modern brujah] and a host of other... things... took control of another group of fleeing refugees and captured townsfolk to create the Dark City of Chaos: enosh-called-sha'adom

The Prophet returns Back (or... forward, rather) in 1991 Anno Domini, the Harbinger of Gehenna, the 24th prophet, Damien, went with his protector, Jordan, to go back through the time cabinet that they sent for themselves (creating an embolism, yes, but he is the prophet, after all) to meet Saulot to proceed with their mission".

Others from the future follow Damien and Jordan... increasing the risk of time disturbance of massive proportions (the type that could send this whole section of the multiverse in chaos!... or really benefit a chaos demon.) An ancient Methuselah, who now exists twice over... once in mortal form, and once in vampiric form... followed Damien with her band. After she dealt with the Malkavian elder known as Joan... or Joan dealt with her, it still isn't clear, Hirut migrated toward the City of Shadow... where her sire, Triole: later known as the usurper, lives.

Hirut's band included her demon lover, Ma'litil. The Chaos Demon, or alixir, thrives on the chaos in Hirut's wake. He has lived an eternity, much of it in torment... he wishes only to be whole.

Hank, a brujah decendant of Hirut and sire to Jacob, follows his mistress across the desert to do her will and finally get his due. His aura roiles with the black streaks of abominable diablerie and his eyes have glazed with serial- killer morale.

A demoness appears in the guise of the 1991 Tremere kindred of D.C./Nova known as Cleo St.Sebastian.

Another team comes from the future on the footprints of the Prophet, the supposed nikrete of vampiric myth, fable, history, mathematics, song and prophesy (depending upon your point of view). Jacob Mateo (modern brujah), Cleo St. Sebastian (tremere), Samantina (lasombra), and Jerimiah Banks (modern brujah) bring their technocracy Compubands (a new, sentient species... or kingdom, even...) to 1,000,000 years in the past for different reasons...

In Enosh-called-Gomorrah
The characters meet two mekhetim temporal and planar scholars to aid them in stopping Hirut. Marcus of the Mekhetim studies time and maintaining the order of the universe for future and past generations alike. Oras of the Mekhetim is a delver into the Umbral realms and has learned much in his last one-hundred cycle journey through the Astral Plane(s).

Storyteller The Night has Eyes Posts: 239 (10/7/06 2:42 am) Reply	Statement of fairness... I would like it known for the record, that as I am writing this climactic story (the wedding and the aftermath...), I have written it in a way that will completely depend upon the player character's actions. While I have hinted that the game will DEFINATELY go to Romania (and Russia, beyond), that doesn't mean that the characters will lose everything in the next game nor does it mean that the characters will have to flee... it depends entirely upon what Cleo and Casie do. I am writing this adventure with an open mind, only knowing the meta-story and the various NPC's motivations and true alliegences. So don't despair, but be prepared to "be on your toes"... with your left foot first, of course. -Storyteller
