SoV Factions
As gleaned from various boards:
Three major faction groups - Coldains, Dragons & Giants.
Killing giants:
Kromf gets worse
Kromzen gets worse
ClawsofVeeshan gets better
Coldiandwarves gets better
Killing Dragons:
Kromrif gets better
Kromzen gets better
Coldiandwarves gets better
ClawsofVeeshan gets worse
Killing Dwarves:
Kromrif gets better
Kromzen gets better
ClawsofVeeshan gets better
Coldianddwarves gets worse
So, kill either giants or dwarves to improve faction with dragons. Kill giants
to improve faction with dwarves. Kill dwarves to improve faction with
giants.
One guy who says he did the faction tables for Cabilis rated faction bumps
per kill (assuming 1 faction point per kill) as follows for all faction levels
anywhere in EQ:
Threateningly to Dubious 200 kills
Dubious to Apprehensive 400 kills
Apprehensive to Indifferent 100 kills
Indifferent to Amiable 100 kills
Amiable to Kindly 400 kills
Kindly to Warmly 200 kills
Basically, since this continent is at war, you can change faction through
kills alone - no quest work is required. This means that one could start with
one faction set and change later if they wanted to.
Another guy posted that he went from apprehensive to amiable with only
50 kills. If this is so then perhaps the faction hits are greater than +1 or
-1. That would make a big difference.
