Satin Litter!!! We had a litter of 12 Broken Copper/Red Satin Crosses today. We initially started out with a litter of 12 that soon turned into 14!!!! we had 8 brokens and 6 solids. We are hoping to improve on our copper color. We are lacking the orange ring definition, and are hoping that the Red Satins we purchased at convention will help with this task. The last two that the doe had were a peanut and a HUGE kit. We did foster all but 6 of them as the doe is a first timer. She has done VERY well....built a Beautiful nest, and had NONE on the wire. We will keep you all posted as to how the litter is doing. |

Congrats Sis!!! good luck with your awesome litter....and I a sure that you are on the right track breeding the reds into your Coppers....

New Litter Congrats, snowak!! I too raise Copper Satins in NY. I hope you get that orange ring better! Good luck in the fall shows. |
