For starters, if it's a torn ACL forget about him, he's done for the good part of the season. But that's a big thing, he didn't sign yet, so if he torn his ACL then what happens to his contract?????
Oh, and if he's seriously injured, we need a guard. Or two.
Heck, at this point, offer the Mavs Mash and McKie for Finley. Seriously...

Nothing for sure ...
From what I'm told, the PC will focus on the signings of the 3 youngsters, and luxury tax discussions.
No confirmation at all on WG and a torn ACL.

another note ...
Sixers president/general manager Billy King confirmed contact with free agents, including Steven Hunter, Christian Laettner, Andrew DeClercq, Dale Davis and Vitaly Potapenko. Yesterday, agent Mark Bartelstein confirmed conversations with King about Hunter, saying, "It's definitely something we've talked about." Agent Lon Babby confirmed he spoke with King about Laettner, saying, "There's mutual interest, and we're exploring opportunities."

Re: Willie Green
It is true about Willie tearing his ACL and his contract being taken off the table.

Re: PC Tomorrow?
first and foremost it's a shame for willie and his career. however, being out in az, i have probably not seen as many sixer games as i would have liked, but i did notice two completely different willie green's. i didn't even have to look at some statistical splits to notice the total difference in his play with iverson on the court.
in my opinion, unless cheeks could somehow have worked a small miracle, did not see anything more than green basically being the backup quarterback to iverson. i do hate to lose his scoring if and when iverson goes down for a game or few, but maybe this allows the sixers to go after someone like jaric who would be a much better match for the sixers on both the offensive and defensive end, night in and night out. or who knows, maybe rose gets cut, puts his ego aside, and actually plays this thing called defense for the first time in 5 years.... ???
i was really hoping the sixers were going to address the 4/5 with whatever money they had planned, but now it appears they will have a couple of holes to fill and may just be forced to break the bank here.
