Official Raid Calendar Rules.
The Official Raid Calendar Rules
as decided on a meeting amongst raid leaders on 8/23 - 8/24
1. What is a "Raid"
The following spawns/areas may be scheduled on the calendar:
Plane of Fear
Plane of Hate
Plane of Sky
The following are set up on rotation:
a. Naggy/Vox: Talk to Shaorinor or Iskandar in game.
b. Venril Sathir (Unity, KTF, EA, Trinity) - talk to the leadership of these gulids in game)
c. Traknon (KTF, EA, Unity, SOS, DD) - talk to the leadership of these guilds in game.
d. The Dain (KTF, EA)
e. Cazic Thule (KTF, EA, Unity)
2. Who can reserve a raid?
Each guild or formal alliance may have only one reservation per raid spawn/area until that raid is completed.
Formal Alliances (e.g. Raptus, Genesis, etc) are treated as a single guild.
Due to abuse, double dipping, calendar congestion, etc, Unguilded raid leaders and guilded independants are not permited to reserve raids. A guild must have a minimum of 25 active planes capable members (a member is defined as an account, multiple characters owned by the same account are counted as one).
As a clarification, if you schedule PoF next Tuesday, you may not schedule PoF on any other date until after you have finished that Tuesday event.
However, you may schedule PoH for that same Tuesday, and Sky on Thursday.
This rule is regardless of the number of raid leaders there are in a guild.
The rule is applied to the entire guild as a whole.
3. How long can each raid last?
The duration of each raid is limited by their respawn time. Except for the following special cases:
Plane of Sky raids may take up to 3 real-life days to complete. Multiple guilds may be in the Plane of Sky subject to arrangements between those raids to finish up to a certain island each day;
On a day that Cazic Thule is up in the Plane of Fear, the schduling guild and the next guild on the Cazic Rotation, are advised to make arrangement as soon as possible in regards to time in the Plane. The Cazic Guild is encouraged to allow the scheduled raiders time in the plane, and the scheduling guild is encouraged to work as swiftly as possible to allow the Cazic Guild the time needed to terminate him.
Nagafen is on a 7 day rotation;
Lady Vox is on a 7 day rotation.
Rotations will be discussed below.
4. How do you reserve a raid?
Each guild will sign up for a SmartCal account. They will then email the moderator with the following information: their Smartcal account ID, the guild name, the name(s) of the raid leader characters who will be using the account to post events. The moderator will grant posting priveleges when the account is deemed valid.
The rotation lists work as follows: Each guild will be placed sequentially onto the list; one list for each of the spawn/areas. If a guild fails to kill the spawn within the rotation time alotted, or it respawns due to a patch, then the current guild's raid is deemed finished, and control passes to the next guild on the list.
In the event that a guild cannot muster enough people to start their rotation, they may request the next group to swap spots. The request must be made within 24 hours of when their turn starts. If the next group on the
list declines, then the original guild has until the end of their original 48 hour period to complete the kill. If people want to trade places on the list for one reason or another they can work that out amongst themselves.
The /tell command works wonders.
5. Who are the moderators?
Koikeeper will moderate the calendar.
Shaorinor & Iskandar will be in charge of the Naggy/Vox rotation lists.
For Venril, Traknon, Dain, Cazic Thule talk to gulids currently in the rotation in game.
6. How are these rules enforced in-game?
In general, those who abuse or break the rules will suffer the stigma of other players in the game. Prexus is a grand community, full of people who help each other derive enjoyment from the game. It is our hope that the
weight of the community will be sufficient incentive to convince people to play by the rules.
