Geography Quiz
I felt super about how I did...
90% Average error 15 miles, in 453 seconds...
Until I saw Theo's results.
Theo, It is with great respect that I call you a geography Idiot SAVANT.
I'll resume my rightful place as a geography IDIOT.

94% 10 miles 337 secs.
I got the northeast first (Delaware). Not easy placing all those little guys in the exact spot. After getting Del/NH/Conn/R.I., it was a piece of cake.

Ok, because I felt like I got the hardest stuff to place correctly at the very beginning, I did it again.
96% 11 miles 438 secs
Theo, do you remember which states you had to place first?
(No. I'm not a sore loser. It's just that after doing it the first time, I went into logic and scientific crap - I'm bored)
California, Georgia, Ohio and Wisconsin. From there on the midwest was easy, and the rest was a cake.
IMO the hardest part is the midwest - if you get states without any border to the sea, Mexico or Canada, and they are of rectangular shape (as in Wyoming, Nebraska, etc.) it's impossible to get them right!

My score is even more pathetic because I got my home state of Illinois first. That made all the midwest states really easy.
I need to have my 15 month old niece try it so I won't be in dead last...

I was at 96% with an average error of 20 miles till I tried to place New Hampshire next to Hawaii and save myself some moving fees. Wishful thinking.

Boy, you guys are good. I got 88%, 25 average miles.
Although I think it's unfair that I had to place Tennesee blind to start, shortly followed by Nebraska and Arkansas

Not really. Actually, I did it a few more times and got as low as 86% and 50 miles. It all depends on how the states come up.
For my 96% one, I managed to get Ohio, Maine, Arizona, Oregon, New Mexico, and California first. Then Louisianna, Miss, Tenn and states like that.
