My husband was diagnosed during his Parathyroidectomy with another rare genetc condition called Malignant Hyperthermia. I think it just means he developed an allergic reaction to the general anesthesia?? Has anyone else heard of this? Ptliaison Unregistered User (10/10/02 11:34 pm) Reply	MHAUS Malignant hyperthermia is a LOT more than just "an allergic reaction to the general anesthesia"! You make it sound like hayfever which it most certainly is not. May I suggest you take some time and spend it at: www.mhaus.org
