I have had symptoms of MENS for years, but was recently diagnosed after having a serious attack of pancreatitis that landed me in the ICU for 19 days. I have hyperparathyroidism, three attacks of pancreatitis in the last five months, hypoglycemia, and my calcium levels are very high. I am 33 years old, a mother of six, and a teacher. I have to admit I am a little scared and have no idea what the future holds as far as treatment is concerned. I would really appreciate any information anyone can give me. Please send me information via my inbox if you have any that would be helpful.
