MEN I Duodenal Ulcer Help Needed
I am about to go nuts - more than usual anyway -

After more than a year on Nexium 160 MG per day plus morphine and a VERY bland diet I am still throwing EVERYTHING up (no blood) every 3 days like clock work due to a duodenal ulcer (no scope can get through to small intestine due to bleeding and scarring) and esophageal hernia.

I was diagnosed with MEN I about 5 months ago just as surgery for ulcer was being discussed. I was told no surgery more Nexium and that surgery was not really an option basically because of the MEN's.

What do I do? I am so sick of nausea and throwing up all the time!!! Anyone know what to do???

Thanks in advance for EVERYONE's support (and I am here too so maybe I can do some supporting for you all too!!! Feel free to write to me at my e-mail address)

Hope you are feeling and having a good day...

Hi Lisa,

I didn't know this board existed until recently. I am wondering if your doctors have ever given you Megace to help with the problem that you describe. It is pronounced MEG ACE.

Best wishes,
