It May Snow in NY
From Cleveland Plain Dealer:
"The Cavs may have missed in pursuing Larry Brown as a team executive, but will the just-named New York Knicks coach have better luck landing Cavs point guard Eric Snow for his new squad?
Word is, don't be surprised if Brown convinces Knicks General Manager Isiah Thomas to acquire Snow as a backup point guard - someone Brown can then use as a motivational hammer over Knicks starter Stephon Marbury, who clashed with Brown last year on the U.S. Olympic team.
Snow, who could be the Cavs' starting point guard this season, played for Brown in Philadelphia - and had a key role on the 2001-02 Sixers squad that reached the NBA Finals."

Snow Again
Leo;
Good to "hear" from you. I worry every storm season, but last year more than usual. Try to post more regularly...at least until December. (We "ain't" kids anymore.)
With all their guards, I just do not see a need for Eric. But, who knows with Larry?
I cannot find it, but one of NY papers quoted him as saying he anticipates no problems with Steph, but is considering using Crawford, who he said can handle, to allow Marbury to play off the ball once in a while. He also suggested that he may bring Q off the bench because he's concerned about his ability to defend the two. I know some on this board hate all of them, but that's a potentially great rotation.
Another writer suggested that that little guy, Nate Robinson, who was the 21st pick, is strong and a hard working LB type guard. But I watch little west coast pro or college ball so I can't say. Then, too, maybe Penny has a little left. Brown is a pushover for vets, and is even speaking fondly of Allan Houson and suggesting he might come back like McDyess did for him last year.
I personally think that Marbury just has too much ability for even the most notoriously fickle to give up on early. But I am aware that most in the rest of the civilized world have done so already.
