If you need help with treatment for men read this.
Hi there,
I was diagnosed with MEN 1 about a year and a half to 2 years ago. I also have Zollinger Ellison Disease. Actually my ZE is what sparked this. I vomited non stop for over a week until I was admited into the hospital. That is where I met up with my Gastro Dr. He is one of the best. He had a patient with MEN 1 about 20 years ago, so he had an idea that I had it. Sure enough, yeah I did. So then I was sent to one of the top Endocrine Dr.'s. My Gastro dr set me up with the National Institutes of Health, www.nih.gov. There they will take almost anyone with MEN, even if you call them up and volunteer as a research patient. Now I go to the NIH 2 times a year, and will for life. The benifits of NIH care are:
1)Top Doctors, and LATEST meds, and knowledge!
2) ALL MEDICATIONS ARE FREE! This saves me thousands!
3) You can meet others with MEN
4) All med care is also FREE, as are surgeries, etc.
5) there isa Childrens Inn, and Family lodge for FREE just like a hotel.

I love the NIH, I am getting the best care on the planet. Especially since one of my Doctors is Dr.Marks, and yeah, he actually discovered MEN!

I would definatly check out the NIH.

My current meds are
120MG of Omeprazole (proton pump inhibiaturs)
2 Pills a week of Cabergaline

These meds are very costly and I get them free. And will for my whole life.

My MEN is completely under control, and I know EXACTLY what is going on, when and what, and where. It feels good to have that knowlege, and know I am and always will be taken care of.

Yes, the NIH would be happy to take an MEN patient. They need the research, and in return you get the best care in the world. Better care than ANY doctor outside the NIH could EVER give.
