3 different styles of DJ competitions...
* DJ competitors must be citizens or legal residents of Canada
2006 DMC Canada DJ Championship
- Each DJ has 6 minutes to compete
- Elimination heats in various cities across Canada
- Use of any brand turntables and mixers are allowed
- Ortofon cartridges and needles are mandatory

2006 DMC Battle for Canadian Supremacy
- 90 second head2head elimination battle until one DJ remains
- Use of any brand turntables and mixers are allowed
- Ortofon cartridges and needles are mandatory
- One competition to be held in Ottawa (Elements of Hip Hop Celebration Weekend)

2006 DMC Canada DJ Teams Battle
- A 6 minute DJ Teams competition
- Teams are composed of 2 - 4 DJs
- Equipment allowed: up to 6 turntables and 4 mixers
- Use of any brand turntables and mixers are allowed
- Ortofon cartridges and needles are mandatory
- One competition to be held in Ottawa (Elements of Hip Hop Celebration Weekend)
