I really like the award plan you set up for yourself for exercising and EQ. Thats really a great plan. I am currently trying to get myself to get on the treadmill 3-5 times a week. I told myself one time for each time i work out i can buy myself one piece of clothing...hehe whether it be socks or a shirt. I haven't stuck with it so i think i need to come up with a better plan!
Anyways...Yesterday I stopped at a store and picked up a jump rope. I had heard this is a Great way to get cardio. Yah so i'm thinking like back when i was in grammer school and could do like a 100 non-stop. So i get on the treadmill and do 20 min then i go outside and start jump roping! wow this is fun! whew i'm tired. Guess how many i was able to do.....
TEN! OMG I was like only 10 and i'm tired. Hahah so i tried a few more times but boy is that alot of work!! LOL I'm not giving up though...i'm going to try again tonight after my treadmill walk. Just had to throw that story in...heheh
LOL I know. Bob and I were walking yesterday (we walk for 30 minutes around the neighborhood every night) and he said remember when you were little, you would think people were crazy for walking for exercise. LOL then we finsihed going up the first huge hill and we were but huffing and puffing. We have had a great time doing it though and it has given us a little more extra time together The reward plan is a great idea, but I play eq during the day until I get a part time job. This has really cut back on my snacking and such

don't let it get you down.......this is what i do, because not only do i get tired quickly doing cardio.......i get bored hehe. i'll do 15 minutes of a certain type of cardio then stop and move on to another cardio activity for 15 more minutes. i basically keep doing this until i meet the amount of time i want to spend working out that day.
so if you do 10 jumps on the jumprope, go to your treadmill for a few then go back to the jumprope and do 10 more. and jumpropes are a great workout.

I can use all the insentive I can get.
I might try that jump rope thing.. currenty I am walking my dog.. poor thing was panting.. before I realized it we walked for an hour and 15 min. It was about 3 miles.
I was not sore I wanna be sore! I belly dance for 15 min and I am sore.. go figure.
