Best of the Rest
sportsillustrated.cnn.com...index.html

Two interesting names still out there;

Gerald Wallace
Kareem Rush

The question is whether either or these guys would bring more than Salmons already does to this team. Rush has playoff experience and I remember him knocking some big 3's down in the playoffs. Wallace seemed to have a lot of potential but I didn't follow him much last years after he'd left Sac. Maybe some one else can chime in.

Re: Best of the Rest
I think both bring more than Salmons, but in a different way. Rush can shoot, he doesn't need the ball to be effective, so he can space the floor as a 2 guard, moving Iggy to the 3. Wallace is very athletic, like Iggy, more of a slasher and I believe pretty good defender. He's also very active rebounding and would be murder on the fast break with Iverson and Iggy. He's a 3, so Iggy would remain as the starting 2. IMHO either of these guys would be an improvement over Salmons, and Wallace would start over Korver.

Re-sargent1
So what do you think the chances are that we could trade Salmons and filler for either Kareem Rush or Gerald Wallace and then still pick up Hunter with the MLE? It seems that such moves would literally fix this team's shortcomings immediately.

.
I must say I do like the idea of Hunter in theory, because without Sam on the floor, we are slow as molasses and have no shotblockers. But while he had his moments with Phoenix last year, but they were few and far between.

Re: .
I agree that getting Rush, or especially Wallace would go a long way to solving the 2/3 problem. I think both guys can be had, however I don't know if anybody would want Salmons, especially now with the health issues. As for Hunter, I definitely think the MLE would nab him, I don't think any of the other interested teams are offering much more than the LLE.

Uh oh
Well if the rumors are true about Green tearing his ACL, I wonder if more attention will be given to Rush and Wallace. Either one would be a nice addition and as you guys stated, both players bring something a bit different to our roster. I hope BK is exploring opportunities to get them. As for Hunter, even if he only showed flashes, his size alone would be welcomed on our frontcourt. The fact that he's young also makes him worthy of real consideration.

Re: Uh oh
Rush is rumored to be resigning with his old team.
