After downloading and getting back on. I have been thrown to the desktop with a crash twice in the last few minutes. So just be prepared for it when you get back on.
Yeah, didn't even finish patching before it crapped out.
Well, finished ToA on my main pueter, but on the 2nd one it only made it half way, and only maybe 5% into SI patch on my main.

When has a patch ever gone through without problems? I dread patches, even when they include things that help MY character. The consolation is, you know that techs at Mythic are sweating bullets working furiously trying to iron out the problems.
Currently, I am spending the time reviewing the artifacts I want for my necro.

Not only has the patch stopped. I had both accounts crashing to the desktop every 5 minutes or so. Just like after last patch. I hope to hell its just because so many getting the patch, etc. If its like last time where shit just stops working all the time, I am going to go crazy!!!
Mythic will say:

Nope wont hear that from me right now. I am really enjoying ToA and the game in general. Once I got into ToA i started having a lot more fun. Don't even mind xp'n any more.
I have just avoided getting caught up in the negatives and started looking at the positives to the game. Once I did that it became a much more enjoyable game. Everyone should try it....it really does make things much more fun.

Yea...Yea.... I bought my accounts. But really any more I don't mind leveling. I just got the friar to 40.5 today and will take him to 50. Then I will work on a minstrel and get one to 50.
I now have 3 great accounts. No need for any more and no need to leave MLF besides to play on Tristan or Gaheris. Its been actually kind of nice lately on MLF. More and more of the negative people have been leaving the alliance. Been a much more pleasant place to be. I would like to play on Mid/Tristan also. I guess I kind of lost the "I have to be uber" attitude and traded it in for the "I want to have fun and make friends".
I think the passing away of Jim kind of made me look at things a little differently about the game. I actually now feel the same about my braknn account as many of you feel about yours. I don't see myself ever selling it since I have put in so much time getting artifacts, leveling them and making a name for myself on MLF. I kind of look at things as he use to, If you aren't having fun in a certain part of the game then find something that is enjoyable.
I don't know, maybe buying the accounts takes something away from what I do in game or how I am outside the game....either way I don't ever judge a person that bought an account vs one who has always had it. What I find is most those who bitch and complain are the ones who have been playing the same account for the whole time.
There is something that the message boards just can't offer than being in game and talking/farming/rvr'n/etc with those people. I recently talked to Dave and have become an officer on MLF and help out with the guild. I plan on staying for the long haul and hope all those who enjoy the game will stay on MLF and continue to have a great time.

I am really suprised as of late (Until I lost a vault full of equipment to the server crashes) how much fun the game is for me now. Didn't need a break, just needed to look at things a little differently.
My point of last post was to hopefully get others to do the same. It mkaes the game a much better place when people just have fun with it

I hear ya, and I been doing the same. Pre-ToA, after getting a toon to 50 I would pretty much rvr full time, unless helping with raid and quests. But now that I have an artifact, and after getting it to lvl 2, I see that I have much more time to spend farming scrolls. I also printed out about 20+ pages of artifacts that I want to get. As well, there are 2 ML raids this weekend I would like to attend. I've also been spending time in BG. So... I am enjoying the game.
This cluster-fook they call a patch, has been an annoyance at the very least. And I really feel for ya Ice, I can only imagine what items were lost to you. Waiting on an appeal to see if it CAN be recovered is like waiting on a loved one to get through an operation.
There is a phone number you can call for support, somewhere in the support pages. I'd suggest you get in voice com with them and see if they can sort it out.

I have a hard time doing voice with computer game support. I mean, I already feel like a geek for playing the game, it's another to call support and actually talk about it. But maybe that's just me.
Course, back when Etul (cofr squirrelbait) used to play, we used to discuss this crap all the time at lunch during work.
