So I melted a blowhose the other day, got that NASTY black sticky molten latex all over me and a chunk of 25mm rod I was using, sucks ass.
So, on good advice, I went to a pet shop and bought an 8' piece of Silicone air hose.
Woot.
Silicone is nice stuff for a blow hose. Much higher temp resistance than Latex, and if it does by some chance, get hit with the flame or hot glass, it'll still melt, but it doesn't leave that really nasty sticky residue all over.
Oh, it's REALLY soft and flexible, not the clear vinyl tubing of old, this is kink free and flexible.
So anyone still struggling with a thick, heavy, sticky latex Blowhose, do yourself a favor, spend $4 for the silicone tube.
